Sri Krishna Janmashtami

On the festival of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, which falls on the eighth day (ashtami) of the lunar month of Bhadrapada, we celebrate the birth (Janama) of Sri Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

During the puja ceremony, we relive the moments of Lord Krishna's birth, symbolically rocking the God who appeared in the body of a child, while we express our tender devotion to him.

Janmastami is an important holiday celebrated by the faithful with fasting and all-day prayer. All day long, they engage in spiritual thoughts and prepare for the meeting with God at the evening puja.

You are welcome!
