Sri Ganesh is the son of Shiva and Parvati, the elephant-headed God, the remover of obstacles, the resolver of problems, bestower of pure intellect, wisdom, power, prosperity and good luck.

You spread love everywhere as your blessing. 
You have lovely yellow-orange fragrance paste all over your body. 
You have a necklace of pearls  around your neck.

The aim of Ganesh Pooja is that we offer our love and devotion to Ganesha, without expectations. Through the blessings of Sri Ganesh, we can get His gifts. The two wives or attributes of Ganesha, Riddhi and Siddhi might appear in our lives. Riddhi represents material prosperity whereas Siddhi represents spiritual richness.
