Rudra Abhishek Pooja

Rudra Abhishek Pooja is a special, powerful ritual in honor of Lord Shiva. While chanting mantras, we bathe the Shivalingam, symbolizing the Universal Consciousness, in panchamrit, the five components of which are symbols of the five elements that make up the Universe.

Shiva is the manifestation of the cosmic, Divine Consiousness, good and compassionate who is happy with the smallest prayer or offering. Rudra is the energetic, impulsive aspect of Shiva, who destroys the negative forces and properties, purifies and liberates the devotees.

The Rudra Abhishek Pooja removes the difficulties of the life of the devotees, freeing the problems. It helps to advance through both spiritual development and prosperity in the material world. Protects against the adverse planetary effects, helps health, wellbeing, happiness, and satisfaction. Grants the positive wishes.

Our Sandesh Pandit Ji will soon be moving home permanently to India, so this will be his last pooja at the Mandir. That's why this evening we will also solemnly say goodbye to him.
